2016-2021: Mount Martha Waste Water Treatment Plant
Multiple PFAS detections in groundwater, biosolids and recycled water. 100% of biosolid samples contained PFAS
Mount Martha Waste Water Treatment Plant had 17 detections of PFAS in groundwater.
Mount Martha WRP Groundwater Bore 3, recorded the highest levels of PFPeS and EtFOSAA in Victorian Waste Water Treatment Plants.
Mount Martha WWTP data shows a spike in detections of PFOS in 2016 with levels reducing substantially after this date.
