2018/19: Yarra River Melbourne – Yering Gorge/Sugarloaf Offtake

Pers comm Nov 19: We can confirm that monitoring programs delivered to date have found the levels of PFAS in water samples taken from the Yarra River at Yering Gorge have been well below the guideline values in the Australian Drinking Water Guidelines (for perfluorooctane sulfonate (PFOS), perfluorohexane sulfonate (PFHxS), and perfluorooctanoic acid (PFOA)).
