2017: Bolivar Waste Water Treatment Plant (South Australia)

Bolivar Waste Water Treatment Plant is the largest waste water treatment plant in South Australia. It is located approximately 18km north of  the Adelaide CBD.

In 2022, Bolivar supplied 90,000 tonnes of biosolids. Were users aware of the PFAS content of the biosolids?

Note: *For the sludge lagoon dredge location no sample was collected in August.#20 PFASs sampled in March. #47 PFASs sampled in June, August, December. More than one set of PFAS sampling was taken at these locations in the months of March. June, August & December but as no were dates provided as to when PFAS samples were done an average each of these PFAS detections is shown for these location
