2016/17: Highest PFAS loads at Pearce are from the Fire Training Area. Maximum PFOS+PFHxS in soil 81.5mg/kg. The area has multiple hotspots >10mg/kg. Highest surface water was detected in a drainage channel within the Fire Training Area. At location PD_SW07 PFOS+PFHxS was detected at 424ug/L. Highest groundwater detections for PFOS+PFHS was 12,300ug/L from groundwater monitoring well WA0067-MW053.
